Homemade Bubble Solution

     

  It took a lot of experimenting to get the right proportions for this bubble solution but it works great and we got some really big bubbles. We had some left over bubble wands and surprisingly we got our best bubbles out of an egg ring...

The Recipe

Recipe

1 cup warm water

1/2 cup dish soap

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp cornstarch 

Directions

1)   Mix the sugar into the warm water and stir so it dissolves.

2)   Gently stir in soap trying not to make it too bubbly.

3)   In a separate bowl mix the cornstarch into a couple tbs of cold water.

4)   Stir cornstarch mixture into bubble solution.

Construction Paper Italian Dinner

      My daughter loves to help me cook! I got this idea today during a play date when the girls were making "soup" with various items around the house (I had given them bowls and big spoons) they loved it!

      I just used paper so that when she is over playing with it I can just scoop it into the recycling. I found that the living room floor is the best place for this activity since I can just vacuum when she is done.
